bare minerals is wonderful. It's totally like natural, so it doesn't clog your pores.
it stays on throighout the day...in fact one time i didn't wash my face and it was still on 2 days later!
You can't tell its makeup because it looks so natural.
it works trust me.

My sister recommended it to me so I bought a brush and foundation at Ulta with a 20% off coupon. I loved it so I went back and they had a box set with a couple of all over colors, the mineral veil and the bisque concealer (with brushes). So...I spent about $100 total but it is going to last a while since it has nothing that could "go bad" like a liquid make-up. You don't need a lot, but it really does cover and give you a great look throughout the day. When i first started using it my co-workers said I looked 10 years younger! You gotta love that.

I am a makeup artist/beauty consultant and the store I work at sells it. Its completely natural, not even talc is in it. Its nothing more than minerals from the earth. If it looks cakey, here's some tips. Pour a bit of the foundation powder in the top. Swirl your brush around and then tap several times. If you tap your brush in the air you shouldn't see any of the powder fall from the brush. Then buff the brush on your face.
Bare Minerals is safe to sleep in (altho I don't recommend sleeping in any makeup) and it will not come off until you take it off. No, you don't need a special makeup remover. It will not transfer to your clothing, cell phone, etc.
I've applied it to many, and the coverage is great; the complexion was softer. Make sure you start with a moisturizer! Great makeup starts with great skin! :-)

I love it! I don't think I can use any other foundation after this. It feels very light and looks natural. Once you get the hang of it, the steps aren't time-consuming at all because it blends easily. I guess the only skin type I can't recommend this on is dry skin. For first timers I do recommend the starer kit available at Sephora or ulta for $60. It comes w/ 2 shades of foundation, 1 mineral veil and warmth + 3 essential brushes. This kit lasted me about 6 months. It's worth it. Try it and if it doesn't work out for you, you can always return it w/ a receipt...that is if you bought at Sephora.

I love it!! I didn't buy mine on the home shopping network though. It works fantastic as a concealer, and all over foundation. For lighter days, the mineral veil works great also. I tend to work 12 hour days and have no problems with my makeup looking great throughout the day. Also check out the BareMinerals eyeshadows, they have great pigments and tend to last just as well.

I used it and not a big fan. I don't like how you have "steps" to apply the makeup. 1. the foundation 2. the mineral veil 3. glow (and we all want to glow). I have oily skin and by the end of the day all three were dripping off my face. I stick with Mary Kay!

I have it, and I got it for my Mom as a gift, We both LOVE IT!! It does look fresh! ,but doesn't stay on all day, you'll need touch up threw the day.
I bought it at an Ulta Store not on home shopping network, get the kit, it's worth it, and make sure you get warmth, I just ran out, need to get some more.
O one down fall is that it's kinda messy, cause it's loose powder. I've split mine before, so be care-full. and good luck!!!

It is light coverage, and feels as if you do not have make up on. If you have any blemishes you will need to use a little more just on that spot, then "buff" another coat over all. When I first tried it I tried to just put on "one coat" "swirl, tap, buff"....but really that just isn't enough coverage for me. I do it at least twice and sometimes three times, then use the mineral vail, and that seems to work best for me. I love it now, and have been using it for about two years. I get compliments on my complexion all the time.

i love bare minerals makeup, i have always had a hard time with acne etc... and mineral makeup gives enough coverage and is cleaner for my skin...
i have a girlfriend who is allergic to the bismuth so she uses everyday minerals...
Honestly i like both makeups the same...but everyday minerals is way cheaper and they have a wider variety of colors and formulations...
www.everydayminerals.com
if you've never used mineral makeup before, i would def start here....they will send u some free samples...u just have to pay $3.95 shipping... great company, i highly reccomend
good luck!

I have. You either love it or hate it. If you go on eBay you can buy small sample sizes from several vendors. Try it before spending the moolah. I find it hard to apply, and it wears off easily for me during the day. Especially if you live in a warm climate. Loreal makes their own version, you could try that one too. It requires blending...a lot of it. And a light hand with application. Very light. I prefer my good old liquid.
