I have one gap from several years ago where I decided it would be best to concentrate on school, and I graduated a few months ago (August), but I'm just working at a local game store. For the first gap, what should I put? Should I say that I felt the need to concentrate on school or what? And what about this recent gap? It's not technically a gap, since I *am* working, but how on earth can I make running a cash register at a game store look relevant on my resume? I'm looking at jobs in tech writing/editing.

For the first gap, yes... you took off of worki to concentrate on school. As for gap now there isn't one. You work as a customer service rep at a retail gaming store. I would put that too.

If you feel uncomfortable with putting it on there, just use school again. You graduated recently enough where that makes sense.
