I don't think that if he had liked the video he wouldn't have sued. It seems to be about a copyright type infringement and I'd be mad, too. Of course, since I'm not famous I don't have to worry about that. :-)

Evel Knievel is suing Kanye for Copyright Infringement. Kneivel claims that the jumpsuit and the motorcycle he used in the video are trademarked. If this is true and Kanye didn't ask permission to use these items then Evel has a good lawsuit. He should have somehow given credit to Evel when he decided to use the jumpsuit and "skycycle".

Here is why " charging West with trademark violation over the rapper's "Touch the Sky" music video, according to court documents. The video shows West parodying Knievel's famed (and failed) attempt to jump the Snake River Canyon in 1974 and features West in the trademark Knievel jumpsuit with "Evel Kanyevel" across the back. Knievel is claiming trademark infringement, trademark dilution, and "trade dress" infringement (i.e., the jumpsuit)." - I would do the same

Because Kayne West is not original and can not come up with anything on his own. He did not ask permission from Evil and therefore the law suit. Evil was a true original. Kayne who?

i think of that Evel needs to quiet down, the video is obviously Kanye in basic terms having a snort. additionally why has it taken Evel so long to voice his opinion in regards to the video because of the fact it got here out a while in the past, is he in % of money or some thing!!

you expect a rapper to be original....HA!....every song distributed and marketed to the black community samples or downright steals some tune from 10-30 years ago....blacks should be insulted by this...but the record producers know you wont recognize the song....(i've never seen anyone driving while bumpin' some Barry Manilow).....time for originality and creativity to return ( Chronic 2001 was probably the last ORIGINAL rap CD put out......
