i love how all the characters' lives are so intertwined off the island.
what really threw me for a loop was kate's dad in Iraq with Sayed (sp?) and then, the other guy from Iraq in the hatch with devin. it's just wild how they are all connected. it's a real commentary on how close we all are to each other and just don't even know it.
true six degrees of seperation.
i've only seen season 1 and 2 though. my husband and i like to wait until it comes out on netflix and then we stay up late watching the episodes back to back...no commercials!~!!!
take care:)

My friend's kept telling my wife and I about Lost, so we started renting season 1 (we've now finished the second disc of season 2). I'll say that is a good show, but I've never felt that "holy crap, I've got to keep watching" feeling. On the other hand, I almost always feel that when I've watched 24. That was a show that we rented as well. We would decide to watch an episode or 2 around 8pm, and we wouldn't go to sleep until 3am. If you want to see an addicting show, watch 24!

misplaced is outstanding. i latterly were given addicted to it also, back in overdue January/early February, only cuz i needed to allure to close what the large frucking deal became, and in the month Ihad gotten my father and mom and older sister hooked as well. i appreciate love love like it. I gained't supply away what befell in the S3 finale yet i'm hoping you lock your self in a room and end out season 3 b/c the finale, "by using the searching Glass",is probable 2 of the finest hours of television I actually have ever been uncovered to. and outstanding. JAW dropping. see, I wasn't one in all those those who study the ending on the internet, so i became easily floored. i appreciate Jack. i appreciate Kate. i appreciate Sawyer. i appreciate Sayidd. i appreciate Hurley. i appreciate Charlie. i appreciate Claire. i appreciate Jin & solar. i do not even innovations Locke that a lot because i imagine he promises a lot to the educate, such an excellent measurement. i understand lots fo human beings gave up and fell off bc the educate would not answer questions quick adequate, yet to me it truly is part of its allure. I only love spending an hour w/ the characters a week so i'm happy with no longer getting solutions without delay. And Season 3, favourite, may were its best yet. properly, no, no longer some thing can correct Season a million. yet Season 3 comes rather damn close.

It used to be addicting.
Season One fiancee and I would make sure we wouldn't miss it for the world.
Season Two we still wanted to see it, but it was lacking.
Season Three was "nothing else interesting is on so we'll see it".
IT WAS addicting, now its just annoying.
Jarjar, they haven't 'been on the island for years'. LOST time they have only been on there for maybe 2-3 months.

It's so addicting because there are SO many different story-lines! If you're bored with one, you just have to wait a second and you'll get another! I'm loving the Kate and Sawyer-ness right now!

The formula of leaving people hanging at the right moment is what gets people coming back for more. Also it's one of those abstract show where one is not certain of the plot.
BTW I liked season 1 the best , then 2 was ok, 3 is so-so.

Because almost everyone thinks of the idea of being stranded on a deserted island sometime in their life. This is a show about it, and it has some great actors.

the thing that really makes the show for me is the flashbacks for each of the characters, it brings in so much to the story, and you see how everybody was connected before they even knew each other. they've got a great cast, great script, great directing, everything!
