Either ham or turkey.
Mashed Potatos
Green Bean Casserole
Corn
Salads
Rolls
Stuffing
Lots of little appetizers like:
veggie trays with dip
fruit trays
Mini quiches
And plenty of sweets
Pies, cakes, cookies, fudge
Really it is just like Thanksgiving dinner, just add or leave things out that you want or don't want
the food network has lots of good ideas for different meals

We are hosting our family party this year. So far on the list is Ham, cheesy potatoes, cheese & crackers, fudge, green been casserole, rolls, jello and ham dip. We aren't finished yet - still thinking of things ourself (LOL). We have lots of kids so we try to make sure we have plenty of stuff they will eat. My dad always brings shrimp and coctail sauce. My sister requested lobster but I told her think again. I'm going to look in some of my Kraft Food and Family magazines for ideas.

Last year, we had grilled steak and shrimp with baked potato. This year I am probably going to make a ham and get some nice bread and cheeses for sandwiches and just have potato salad and snacks such as artichoke dip and spinach dip.

Purely traditional and same every year ours is
Roast turkey, roast potatos, yorkshire pudding and then just some roast vegs.
Though last year had crispy duck and pancakes (chinese) for starters just to be different.
Then always xmas pudding for desert or occasionally some sort of chocolate pudding.
Though i've just realised this is the american site so american traditions i guess are different....

A beautiful table setting, Prime Rib Roast, Mashed potatoes, String beans, Carrots. good Ajus, a nice Jello mold with pineapple and nuts. ( Not too much appetizers. you don't want them filling up before hand) dinner roll and good wine....aaahhhh
