You must be from New York ( I noticed the use of "yous") my husband is from there and he says the same thing-too cute! Anyhow, I know several people that has happened too. One in particular, they told her all four times during the ultrasounds that she was having a boy, but it turns out that it was really the umbilical cord, not a penis, that had made it's way between the litttle girls legs. Another instance, the doctos' told me friend that she was having a girl, but she had a really healthy pregnancy and they only gave her one more additional ultrasound, but she delivered a little boy. The father had to run out and purchase a little boy outfit to wear home because they had only bought along little girl outfits!

There is no 100% guarantee at any stage that the sex of your baby is what the doctor says. It is a chance you take. That is why I preferred the old fashion way with my baby. I didn't want to know the sex of my baby, then there would be no problems or worries if it was incorrect. Since you were told the sex of your baby just in case it is incorrect you could always just be safe and buy neutral clothes, yellow, green, turquoise, white, beige, etc. You could hold off on decorating the room until after the baby is born. The things you get that are for a boy or girl that wouldn't be appropriate for one of the sexes to wear (dresses, etc) you could return to the store and get something else. Don't buy to much clothing and things now just a few to get you through the first month or so and you could always go shop afterward. Which you are probably going to do anyways because babies grow so fast.

These are just my thoughts and ideas though.

Congratulations and I wish you the best of luck!

While it is not impossible that an ultrasound could be wrong, chances are that it is correct. I had the same feeling that I was having a boy when I was pregnant the first time, but the ultrasound confirmed it was a girl...and it was. But even after the ultrasound, before my daughter was born, I still felt that maybe it really would be a boy, because, like you, I had heard of that happening, but alas... Oh, and I was so happy to have her, too! I am pregnant again (9 weeks) and I am not even worrying about it. Although, I am thinking boy...but I've been wrong before. :) Take care and good luck.

commonly your 2d being pregnant is different inspite of in the journey that your are having a similar sex as your very last being pregnant. the being pregnant being different doen't propose some thing. so a ways because the ultrasound, this is nonetheless very possib;e that it really is a boy. the ultrasound became performed somewhat early and also you stated she stated she became actually 75percentsure so wait it out you do not have a lot time left till your next ultrasound and with somewhat of success they could get a reliable check out each thing and be a touch more desirable constructive than seventy 5%. reliable success to you.

I never had an ultrasound. The only thing I have heard is this, once in a while they will see the umbilical cord where the genitals should be and they mistake it for a boy, but other than that they are usually right. They do those every day. They know what to look for.

My husband's step-mom and dad were told by their doctor the entire time they were having a girl... she ended up having a boy lol... these are reasons why I chose not to find out the sex of my baby, just to keep it a nice surprise and so everyone doesn't go buying pink when it should be blue. :) But many people can't wait to find out... either way, as long as there is a healthy baby, that's all that matters :) Everyone thought I was having a girl, and I thought I possibly might too- but had a beautiful baby boy :)

When i was pregnant everyone thought i was carrying like it was a boy. I though in my heart i was having a boy for a while but they told me it was a girl. Now i am a mother of a beautiful little girl. They usually are right epecially if you have a ultrasound at a hospital. They're pictures are much more clear.

They definitely can make mistakes, but usually if they can't tell what the sex of the baby is, they won't say at all. If you can get another ultrasound, it might be worth it to check again in a few weeks. Otherwise, stick to neutral until after the baby is born.

Usually if they say it is a girl, they are usually right.Sometimes though when they say it is a boy they could be wrong because the umbilical cord sometimes goes between the legs and makes it look like a boy even though it is a girl.

You'll know when it comes out! Good luck.

Usuallly you can't tell until about the 24th week whether or not it's a boy or girl... I had a 3D ultrasound done at 24 weeks and it showed a boy... Maybe buy some gender neutral things until you really know if it's a girl or not... I'm 40 weeks pregnant and I bought some really cute white one piece outfits - perfect for a boy or girl! :) I know - it's so hard to wait!!
Congratulations!
