my to comet gold fish or showing all the signs of breeding, the dots on fin the female becomeing larger, but it is december whats going on???

If they're living indoors, rather than in a goldfish pond, season may not matter much. A home is warm all the time, so it's entirely possible that they're ready to breed even at this time of year.

They are egg scatterers. The female is chased by the male until she releases her eggs, into floating vegatation preferred, and the male releases milt (sperm) at the same time to fertilize the eggs. The eggs stick on anything they come in contact with and the fry hatch out in about a week. Breeding goldfish is for the very advanced hobbies. Its not at all for newbies.

maybe they are ready - provide lots of plants for them to deposit eggs in and move the adults out of the tank if you can, you should see babies in 3 or 4 days
