I had a job like that once. I was a copywriter for an ad agency that produced radio ads. Most of our clients were in other parts of the country, so I would communicate with them over the phone or by email. Then using what they told me, I would write ad copy that went to our recording studio. It was easy work, but the pay was crap.

Check out this website-www.facts.org, then click on career planning. It gives you a short quiz that matches your interests and strong points and skills to possible jobs that are right for you.
It is really neat, I was shocked to see that all of the things I wished I would have become were actually the right choices (per this quiz) for my skills and personality type. Hope it helps you, at the very least it is pretty fascinating.

You sound like a creative person - are you sure you want to work for somebody else? What do you think about becoming an entrepreneur? What is your passion? What do you love to do? When you do what you love, you'll get out of that "tired" mindset.

You should go into sales. Something that is always changing like automotive, or computer software, or medical equipment/pharmaceuticals.
