Every couple of years, there is a new investigation and new conspiracy theories. "She was preganant." "She was having an affair." "She was riding with her lover and their driver was poisoned." "She was a dirty hippie and and only ate cats." "She was having an affair, but turned into a 'Lesbian for Jesus'. Her lover was so angry that he poisoned the driver, kicked a puppy, made an egg salad sandwich, and picked his nose so hard on Tuesday, August 14, 1991, half his brain came out." "Princess Diana was in love with a hobo named 'Jim the Rubber Catchers Glove'. She often brought him cream of wheat."

What is the deal? Who really cares at this point if she was pregnant, murdered, drunk, or a dirty hobo-loving hippie? I know that many, many people loved her and that she was generally a good person, but can't we just move on?

I'm definitely sick of hearing it. I seriously doubt she'd appreciate all the pseudo-concern of the press about the specifics of her death. It's over and done with! Seriously. I was tiny when it happened. It shouldn't have anything to do with me, but I'm always seeing some new Diana article.

I know what you are saying! Every year I am reminded of her death as it is because she died on the same exact day I was married! It's sad, yes...but I agree it's time to move on. There should be something better to talk about.
