Well, it could be a number of things. First of all, it could be just the timing is wrong. If you just have sex whenever you want or when you think your ovulating, you could be just having sex at the wrong time of your cycle. My first suggestion is to read Taking Control of your Fertility by Toni Weschler. I cannot stress enough how important it is to read this book and how much information you will get out of this book. I couldn't put it down! This will explain to you how to chart your waking tempatures to pin point when your ovulating and then also to recognize your fertile days (egg-white cervical mucus). Before you stress or worry about anything, try this first. If still no luck, then talk to your doctor. Everything could appear normal and fine, but you could have other conditions not obvious during an exam. Like PCOS or endometriosis or even a blockage in your tubes, but before you put yourself through what could be unneccesary test or procedures, try this first. I promise you the book is worth it! You will definetly want to keep it in hand before, during and after pregnancy! I wish you and your husband luck! Just remember, don't stress!! That can suprisingly keep you from getting pregnant, also. Happy BD'ing! :]

Did you talk to your doctor about your concern with conceiving? I went to see a doctor after trying to conceive for 3 years. He did acouple of blood test on me and sent my husband to have his fish checked out. My husband came back with flying colors. Me on the other hand, I was not ovulating. So the doc put me on an ovutation drug and I was pg in 3 months. I would talk more with your doctor. Good Luck!

You should send your husband to the doctor to get checked -it takes 2 to get pregnant and if you've tried for 4 yrs. and dr. says your fine -maybe something is wrong with your husband. how old are you? have you had any other children? you can try using an ovulation test-it work for me.

If you have a 28 day cycle then you are likely to ovulate around the 14th day after your period. You would want to have sex before during and after this time! Have sex every other day cause everyday will lower his sperm count!

A yearly checkup is different than a fertility check. You and your husband need to see a fertility doctor. It might be him and not you.

Chances are the problem is with your partner. My neighbors went through the same thing. As it turned out, he had good "Swimmers", but he also had varicose veins in his testicles. After a small procedure, they were pregnant the next month. Good luck!

Tell him to get his little swimmers check. Maybe he has a low sperm count. Or the sac is thick around them making hard for them to (get upstream if you know what I mean).
