Is anyone out there named Pody? Is it a boys name or a girls name? Is that the correct spelling?

OF COURSE! Its a real name. I have several friends named Pody! and that's how they spell it. They're all boys. I am thinking of naming my first son Pody.

There's no such thing as a "fake" name. There are many languages out there, and sometimes, their names get changed if they move to a different country where the original can't be pronounced,.

For example, I have a guy named Fran, and one that's Nit in my ESL classes.

I don't personally know any Pody, but I'm sure there's someone out there.

Not sure if this will answer your question. The Gaelic version of Patrick is Padraig, which is pronounced PAW drig. The diminutive or familiar version is Paudie, pronounced PAW dee.

It is a Gaelic man's name.
