my b/f thinks that a job outside of the house is his only job, i need to find out how to get him to help me with my job( a stay at home mom) without being mean or bossy. i have tried to explain that my job is an all the time thing but he just doesn't understand. someone please help!!

i 1/2 agree with elizabeth b. i think that if u r home 24/7, than u can manage without his help. for example set up a cleaning/errand/ kids schedule and stick with it. like for instance every saturday while your bf sits with the kids u go and do all the laundry. every sunday and wednesday clean the bathrooms, clean the kitchen everyday after dinner. have the kids pick up their toys every night before they go to bed. try to stay organized. your house does not need to be spotlessly clean all the time.
i do think that your b/f should help u out a little. if u want him to start helping out stop doing so much. like stop doing his laundry this would make him start helping u out. now u have 1 less load to worry about. ask him if everyday after the kids are in bed u guys can clean up the kitchen together and talk as u clean. this is something me and my husband used to do when we was on good terms. we would cook a meal together and then clean afterwards.

No offense, but if that is all you do is stay at home, then i do not see why you can't keep it up all the time. I also have kids, and work. I work part-time and manage to keep the house clean and tidy by the time my bf comes home from work. I understand we are two different people so our circumstances are different. Why don't you tell him to help you. Set up a chores chart and get the kiddies involved too, if they are old enough. Just talk to him and tell him you need a little help too.

I sorta agree with Elizabeth B but I'm not sure how many kids you have.
You can do what my mom does....after 33 years of marriage to my dad, keep the frustration inside and take it out in other ways. Or you can talk to him and let him know how you feel.
If that doesn't work, kick him to the curb ;)

its his house but thats not ok its rude he should show some decency around guests my (ex) uncle did that when we visited and my great grandma got sooo pissed at him it was funny hes being waay too comfortable even in his own home i mean he could keep it behind closed doors if he has to go around in his underwear he should keep it to when guests aren't there then he can be half nude all he wants when they're gone that must be awkward- strange if he doesnt get that vibe

Withhold sex until your demands are met. Or clean the house naked and offer to do things to him if he will get naked to help you clean.
Sex is always the answer.
