The best job in the world means different things to different people. But for me, the best job in the world would be in a profession where you genuinely help people, that genuinely need help. Whatever that help may be. Job satisfaction big time.

The kind where it is the job itself (the challenges and the personal rewards) vs the money you make. Although it helps if you draw a sweet salary from it to and are still able to have enough freetime to be home for dinner, spend time with your kids and family. After all, what good is working for money if you never have time to enjoy it!

Being a parent. Not only do you have direct responsibility for the "finished product", but you developed the child, created them and had a vested interest in them. The rewards are fantastic, the challenges great and rarely a dull moment.
