if conjoined twins applied for social security would both of them get approved or just one?

good question...that would be a tough one.

I think they would each get one, because they are two separate people who happened to not be separate.

They would both get one that's just that. If they are able to think for their self independently of the other one than yes they are considered 2 individuals.

They would both benefit, but only the one who applied would receive the checks.

If they have different ss #'s then they are not the same person.
