People who don't ask questions: Are they extremely smug or are they hiding something?

We are very, very smug. We already have all the answers in the universe and we just like to bestow our knowledge upon mere mortals such as yourself.

There can be multiple reasons why a person will not ask questions on Yahoo Answers that are not for reasons that you suggested of them being smug or concealing something. From my vantage point, being that I don’t ask many questions, but answer numerous ones, I always find answering questions to be more mentally engaging than asking them. Hence, for me, answer questions on Yahoo Answers instead of asking them is more of an intellectual and creative outlet for me.

I ask a few questions. I just don't like to squander my 5 points on anything!

mine always sit in limbo for twelve minutes or so and then appear at the bottom of the page, just moments before disappearing to page two, and lets face it, even greater irrelevance than before.

and its usually my wittiest questions that die in this manner, so i don't bother as much anymore.

I think some of them just like giving all of us askers thumbs down because they're meanies.....yeah, some of them are probably hiding something....others are just trying to see how quickly they can make it to level five before you do ;)

don't know, but they get a hell of a lot more points than i do. i love asking questions and rarely answer
