Try using GoJo without water.

Rub the stuff into the stain then wipe it out with a paper towel. Test it in an inconspicuous spot first to make sure the gojo won't stain the carpet.

First of all.
SHAME SHAME SHAME!!!
Now you need and emulsifier. like a wool carpet cleaner and a hot iron. Take the emulsifier or HIGH QUALITY CARPET CLEANER and spray the area.
take a towel WHITE that you don't want. place the towel over the spot and iron it. the emulsifier will break down the grease and the heat from the iron will transfer it to the towel. Do this process several times with clean spots on the towel.
I have done this with red Kool-Aid. It works. Grease is a bugger. you should clean as much as possible by dabbing it with the cleaner. don't wipe it and smear it anymore. the dog house just ain't big enough

Now you could call a professional carpet cleaner, they know all the tricks.
