I really miss my x-gf. We did not break up w/ each other both of us willingly. but more on the line of forced. It's been since Auguest Since I have last talked to here. I was wondering if it's safe to call, or would it stir up to much stuff... bring back memories or something. but i still miss her and love her. i just dont want to call if she has moved on.

why not? What have you got to lose? Just call to see how she is doing. Show a genuine interest in her well being, rather than calling to try and get back with her. Go into it hoping for the best, but don't expect that you will be getting back with her. If you really love her, you will just be happy to know that she is doing well.

I don't know the reason for the split...but it seems to me that unless something really bad happened , there is no reason why you shouldnt call her. Just a friend checking on a friend...but keep it at that! If something more is meant to be , it will unfold, dont push her and be willing to be "just friends' if that is what is meant to be.
