if so how many decibels at any range(point blank, several feet away) would it take for deafness to occur?

A sudden burst of loud noise can damage the ear drum and cause deafness. Listening to loud noise over 85 decibels for 8 hours can damage hearing. The louder the decibels, the shorter the duration in time. But anything over 85 decibels can cause hearing loss.

an extremely loud noise (150 db plus) can rupture your eardrums producing temporary deafness
and over time loud noises (100 db plus) damage the sensitive cilia and cells that are responsible and can produce permanent hearing loss - generally its not complete deafness but you will certainly lose upper frequency range hearing

Yes u can, and most folks have that are older will say they were exposed to loud sounds when they were younger.
Deafness will come with age, protect your ears while u are young.

if u listen to it everyday, I assume you will go deaf faster than an 70yr old person
