Every time I try to watch a movie, any movie, on YouTube, the video freezes about 3-5, sometimes even 10 seconds in, then the audio freezes about a second later. Then I get the, "Firefox has encoutered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for this inconvenience." error message. It's only YouTube, too. Google Video works fine. Everything else works fine. I updated Shockwave Player, because along with the Firefox error message, I would get a similar one, but with 'Firefox replaced with Adobe Shockwave Player'. But that didn't help at all. What's goin' on???

You have an internal error in FireFox, because YouTube is working for me. I would un-install FF and re-install it, as well as shockwave/real player.

I've been testing FF with non-secure sites and found out that even though they claim FF is the "most" secure browser, I have found several scripting errors, as well as exploits in the directory of the installation.

Good Luck!

You know, I have had the same problem, too. The youtube websites uses flash player for their videos . That version of flash player has many problems with the firefox browsers. Try the internet explorer or download an upgrade or an another version of firefox.
