When you go to reinstall any version of XP or NT, it will ask you if you want to format the partition during the installation or just to replace the current operating system, choose format the partition and that will wipe everything.

you put ur cd inside ur cdrom then u start hitting tha computer till it gets mashed up then u spit on ur broken computer and then u throw it out ur window

If you are talking about windows, just go through the install as if for the first time ... boot from the CD, and then when it asks, format the disk ... that will get rid of all the previous data and system.

It is not simple. You have to format your hard disk with the WINDOWS folder. If you only want to delete you personal files just look for the an then press shift+delete.

Insert OS disk. Format full hard disk including partitions. For win98, use "fdisk" command in DOS.

just put in your bootable xp cd in the drive and restart computer.
it will go thru a series of test and ask you which format you would like, choose clean install. will wipe everything.
