I use both really. I use ribbons around the gift and top the ribbons with one of those sticky bows. For the most part I'm good at wrapping but I am terrible at tying the ribbon into a bow, so I generally curl the ends and top it with a bow from a bag.

Sometimes, but they usually just get knocked off the gifts, so I only put them (bows) on on Christmas eve. I wrap ribbon on some of the gifts, depending how I am feeling, and if I want to make it hard to get into.....lol!! Merry Christmas!!

Bows. They are adheisave and they are simple to put on. They are probally cheaper. Ribbons look a lot better but bows are a lot easier.

i usually get them all dressed up just like my momma taught me but since this christmas we have a new infant in the house, no bows or ribbons are decorating my gifts! I barely had time to wrap them.!!

I wrap my gifts early so I wait until the day before christmas to put the bows on. They store better that way and it is fun to decorate them, without all the stress of, "i have to get this done tonight." because the gifts look great either way.

of course! my fiance thinks i'm insane because there MUST be a bow/ribbons on every single wrapped gift, but not putting on the finishing touches just looks bad. i don't want our family to think i'm too lazy to do it.

Bows are the best a little bit of flare with no work to it.
