The first thing that came to my mind was that the tentioner pulley went bad. There is this one little pulley that is located below the supercharger pulley. If this pulley wiggles around then it is bad. It's a simple replacement that will not cost much.

One thing you can do to check if is your supercharger is to try to wiggle the supercharger pulley thats bolted onto the supercharger compressor. If there is play in the pulley then most likely it went bad. You most likely will also see oil coming from that end of the pulley.

If the supercharger is bad, you can contact a place called PSE. They actually do a lot of JRSC rebuilds. It will be the most inexpensive way to go if it is in fact bad. You can reach them at 877-349-0790.

JR supercharger? as in Jackson racing? What car is it on? Be a little more specific.

There a good chance its the tensioner if its a jackson racing supercharger.

Yes it is broken, if it is a stock SC than the manufacturer GM Ford can replace it. If it is aftermarket try a speed shop.
There are tons of places and motor speed shops areound Chicago. look it up.
It will run a small fortune around 12-1500 buckaroos.
