The doll diapers are so expensive. Are the Pampers newborn diapers too big? The doll is at her grammy's house so I can see how big the doll is. Has anyone used real diapers for the baby born doll?

You could buy him a doll because a lot of little boys like dolls, though they outgrow it quickly. Just talk to him about the baby. Kids are smarter than we give them credit for being. My son was 18 months when I had my daughter. He somehow knew that she was staying. He was fascinated by her, which is fine, but can be dangerous at times. He would try to pull up on her bassinet to look at her, which of course, could turn it over. He tried to put in her pacifier, too, so kids can be helpful, as well. Just watch him to be sure that he is careful around her, but it will be fine.

I used to use real diapers form my baby cousin. He didn't wear diapers anymore so his mother gave it to me. They are less cost and they work so much better.
