My period is about 2 days late. I took a test this morning and it was negative. My cycle is always 28 or 29 days long . The only unrotected sex my husband and I had was on the 7th day of my cycle so there is probably little chance of a pregnancy, but I am still curious. I'd like to know asap since the holiday party season is here.

I think that on the 7th day of your cycle it is a very small chance that you are pregnant. I don't think it would be too early to tell on a pregnancy test, so I would trust what it says since you are late. If you haven't started in a few days I would take another one. If it is still negative and you still haven't started I would call your doctor.

are you seriously expecting a real answer from us, haha, that's so funny. You know the pregnancy tests is the best way find out if you are pregnant or not and whether it will interfere with your holiday partying! Just take it again when you miss your period.

Well anything is possible. Try taking another test in a week if your period still doesn't come and take it from there.

It only takes one time of unprotected sex to get pregnant so its always possible, i would recommend waiting a little longer and if your period is no-show i would take another test! =)

I would say your not pregnant. HPT's are really accurate. I am 28weeks pregnant with my 2nd daughter and I did a HPT the day before my period was due and it was correct and accurate. Keep trying.

Chances are you're not (if you took the test properly).
maybe you were a little bit nervous or something- and that's why you're a little late?
