what do you mean? everytime you drink beer, or wine, eat fresh bread or yogurt, you are ingesting live, or dead yeast: look on the back of the yogurt, it should say "live yeast cultures inside" they are microorganisms, do you consider ethics when you spray lysol on a kitchen counter? forget about it! one pain receptor in your body is made up of hundreds of thousands of cells, yeast is just one extremely simple cell, and, therefore, is far to simple for the concept of pain.

There are no ethics involved. Yeast, though technically live, is not aware of its existence.
You might consider revising your ethics on eating yoghurt though, those little chaps are just screaming for escape.

Yeast is a living organism, but without the nervous system that would make it a sentient being. You can stop worrying about its welfare.
