I am 3 days late and usually on time. For the past week I have felt like I was going to start my period but never happend. I keep getting mild cramping and lower back pains. All the symptoms I have seem like pms (breast tenderness and swollen, change of appetite, tired and moody). Ive been having these symptoms for over a week now.

I would wait a week.. and then take an at home test. If that is negative.. wait another week.. and if still no period.. go to the health dept. or your physician.
It may still be too early to detect the pregnancy hormones on a at-home test.
When I thought that I may be pregnant.. my period what still a week away from being due, but my breast were really really sore.
I took an at-home test.. and it was neg. then the day before my period was due I took another one and it was positive.
So use your best judgement.. ok.. good luck and if you are congratulations and if you aren't keep trying (that is- if you are trying)

Are you on the pill?did you use protection? you should add more details so we can better assist you. If your having PMS symptoms, most likely it's coming. Every period is different you body changes a lot. When your 7 or 8 days late, get a test done. A blood test, it's much faster

It is possible. Take a home pregnancy test and if it is negative, yet you still feel like this after a few days, request a blood pregnancy test from the hospital if your period hasnt showed. Good Luck.

Your period might be late becuase you are worrying too much. Stress can play a big part in that. Just go get a test. It'll put an end to your worries! Good luck hun!

i think you should take a test, its sounds like you have pregnancy symptoms but the same happened to me a few months ago and i wasnt pregnant. but know im am nearly 8 weeks pregnant and my first symtoms were heartburn and and ictchy breasts but when my period was late a fews days i had nasua and really sore breasts if u take a test its the only way you'll know. goodluck.

If a female is having sex she could get pregnant - end of story. No birth control is 100% effective.

Put your mind at rest, just go and buy a hpt. If your period is already late and your usually regular then that's a big sign on it's own.

This same thing happened to me when I was preg. and didn't know it until I was one month along. take a preg. test. When I got preg. the second time, which was planned using an ovulation test, i tested every week and after the second week it showed a very very light positive sign. that ment i wasn't very far along- the darker, the farther along you are.

It is hard to tell a lot of times in the beginning, because your early pregnancy symptoms are so much like your pre-menstral symptoms. It sounds like you are pregnant to me.
