I went with my parents when I was thirteen. Of the places we visited, I had the most fun in London, Holland, and the Black Forest region. I didn't like Paris at all - people weren't very friendly to us (and this was long before Iraq), and most of the things to do there (Moulin Rouge, Louvre, etc.) were far too adult for me to appreciate. I wouldn't mind going back now that I'm older, but it wasn't a great spot for a family vacation. You might want to find a copy of "Take Your Kids to Europe" by Cynthia Harriman at your local library or bookstore - it's got a wealth of ideas for things you can all do together (and sometimes separately) in most of the major cities of Europe, tips to make your vacation less stressful and more fun, and the information covers families with children and teens of all ages.

I would Choose Island of Crete. Culture, Beaches, Food and not too hot because it is an island. Otherwise Mediterranian area is too hot on those months. www.cretetravel.com
The other alternative is far up north if nature is your thing hire a cottage by a lake and enjoy sauna, lake and some quietness together with some city life. This is Finland. visitfinland.com hut hiring at lomarengas.fi
A little tip June is usually much cheaper for accommodation in Europe since July and August are the main vacation months and every European has one month summer vacation.

I would say Turkey. It is a great country to visit and the prices are relatively lower compared to other European countries. You can have a taste of East and West at the same time.

Sweden and Scandinavia are so beautiful at that time of the year.
Fresh air, open spaces, great weather, history, wildlife and many many other things to see and do.¨
Everything is clean, people are friendly and speak English, public transport is reliable and the food is great.
Many tourist seem to skip Sweden but its is a fantastic place to visit.

how are you going to visit Europe and in no way see the united kingdom, London. :( accurate 3 countries uk London, France Paris and Italy Roma yet i want Milano. in case you do not favor to bypass to uk than Holland is the subsequent purely right. Amsterdam is captivating. i'd ward off Spain complete of chavs( american i imagine you're saying trailer trash) travelers, no longer a lot to extensive you horizons. also the various Spanish are not to any extent further welcoming in the route of Black human beings. From what I somewhat have experienced after I went with my associates, by the way i'm no longer black, I somewhat have black associates, they were no longer effective. uk, France and Italy i'd recommend somewhat.
