I say yes....If the two are both mature enough, even if something does happen sexually, a friendship can still exist, and the reason I know this is because it has happened to me! And he is still one of my best friends!

Yes. I have this with one of my guy friends. It can make things a little weird sometimes, but mostly it's nice. Worst thing that happens is you become friends with benefits or down the line it grows into something more when you want it.
