I think it would be a good idea for the lakers to get iverson if they didnt have to give up odom or bynum. I think it would be good to have iverson come off the bench and back up kobe. Its so important in the nba to have someone come off the bench and bring in energy and a quick burst of scoring. They would have to play him and kobe at the same time sometimes, but to have iverson come off the bench would be great for any team. Iverson has said he wants to win. He dont care about anything but winning, so i think he would be willing to come off the bench if that meant winning.

Honestly I am very happy theres other LA fans out there that want AI other than me. This would be fantastic. I see no reason why he would be on the bench though that is unnecassary. They would give up players that I think are fine to give up for this type of star power. Such as: Radmovich(No idea of spelling), Smush Parker, Luke Walton(this is probally the most hurt it would have because of Waltons play this season, but I wont shed a tear if AI comes to town) and maybe some draft picks. The new starting five would be as good as the 04' with: AI, Kobe, Odom,Bynum and the other depends on the type of linup they want. GREAT IDEA GO LAKERS!!!

you cant be serious. iverson is an all star player. don't get me wrong he is probably a very nice player, but an all star like him will probably have a somewhat arrogant side and he will most likely NOT be a bench player even if he is a sixth man. He is a player that will start or go somewhere that he will start. He wants to win, but he also wants to contribute the most in his wins. I don't think he will come off of the bench but if hes traded there he will probably fit in very well. That was a good thought though
