YES.!!! Bodyguard Rees-Jones, who survived the crash, admits that Henri Paul had showed no signs whatsoever of being intoxicated or unfit to drive. "He didn't seem nervous," Rees-Jones recalled. "He was always the way I knew him." Alexander Wingfield, one of Dodi's bodyguards who was at the hotel before the couple left, told investigators, "Henri Paul drank no alcoholic beverage in my presence. He did not smell at all of alcohol, and he was less then a yard away from me.

Think there is a cover up of sorts...It was strange that shortly before her death she told in an interview that the next thing she did would shock...It is also strange that the same officer overseeing and reporting the findings is the same one who has had his hands full with the Football Bungs Scandal...what a busy chap...I have always wondered if she is actually still alive but in an exile arranged by various sources....that said, her sons have done her proud and was glad to see they have a mischievious sense of humour...

Why is it whenever someone famous dies there is someone ready to jump out from the woodwork with a cry of cover up? The driver was drunk, he was driving too fast. When that is the case, accidents happen. Diana wasn't wearing a seat belt. When people are in accidents without a seat belt, they tend to die.
There was no cover up, Fayed is just pissed off because he didn't get a close association with the royals. He is a bitter old man who wants attention.
Again, as with so many conspiracy theories, it is all innuendo and no evidence. All the facts are discounted because they do not fit in with the preconceived theory.

Well I think it probably is but this is the royal family we are talking about, you are never ever gonna find out the truth behind what happened, and whether or not she was pregnant or engaged, but I really do think that Fayed should give it a rest now it's been nearly 10 years, and he keeps on dragging it up it's really not fair on prince William and Harry, they might be hiers to the throne but they are still young men who lost a mother whom they loved very much. Lets just let her rest in peace now.

Well, the Hutton and Butler reports were both complete whitewashes, so I wouldn't be surprised if this one was too.
Of course I don't think Phil the Greek did her in like old al Fayed is saying, but there is very likely more to it than we're being told.
And where the hell IS that white Fiat uno?

I think it's ridiculous. He's an old man who can't let go of his grief and move on. I sympathise deeply with him on the loss of his son, but he needs to get on with his life.
Speculation about her death will go on for ever and ever, I suspect, because she was a popular and well-liked person.
However, it was just a sad accident. Like Elizabeth Howard said before me, Henri Paul (the driver) was driving too fast (doing twice the posted speed limit), he was drunk, and Diana & Dodi weren't wearing their seatbelts. They really didn't stand a chance.
Funny how the bodyguard was the only survivor - he was the only one wearing his seatbelt...

I think the reason why Fayad and the like think that Diana and Dodo were murdered was because they deserved to be executed. She stated unequivocally on the bashir interview that she wanted to bring down the royal family and establishment. That is treason which was a hanging offence at the time. She also admitted to shagging around whilst married to the heir to the throne which is also treason.
