okay, so I had just pulled into my driveway, and gotten out. I held down the doorlock switch so it would lock my driverside door as well as the rest (because in accords if you just press the switch once it will lock all of them except the driverside door). I couldn't get it to work, so i hit the switch the other way to unlock all of the doors. A split second after the doors unlocked, they all locked automatically! I hit the unlock switch again and again and it did the same thing every time. Then I closed the driverside door, unlocked it with the key, opened it again, and pressed the unlock switch again. This time everything worked. IS MY CAR POSSESSED lol but no really what is wrong?

This is a common problem with 94-97 accords, the problem is the Actuator. This is a small motor solenoid that screws on to the bottom of the latch. If one or more of your door locks don't work or they keep trying to lock or unlock repeatedly, the problem is a bad lock actuator on the door latch inside the door. I deal with this complaint alot.

I agree with the other answer... Maybe the battery in your remote is going bad.... Try replacing it and see if it works better. Otherwise it might be something to do with the motors in your door locks. Mine was doing something similar to that and then eventually the locks didnt lock or unlock because the motor in my door lock stopped working / broke. Hopefully its the first one, so you'll just have to buy a 3-4 buck battery and be good to go.

Believe it or not. Its a feature that prevents you from accidentally locking your keys in your car! I had a 2000 Saturn SL2
that did the same thing!

Maybe your keypad buttons are sticking, or the battery is getting low.
