i have heard a lot about richardson, and i do not know what will happen to senate

I KNOW that if he dies, or choses to relinquish his seat, the republican governor will take over, and cheney will cast a tying vote.

BUT, what will happen if he is alive, but does not relinquish power. I have heard about 9 senators who missed extended periods of time, but were still in power.

Tim who? Oh, you mean Sen Tim Johnson. I don't know what if any laws apply to an incapacitated Senator. The Senate has the power to remove a member but I can't conceive of that even being introduced in this sutuation. I guess we'll just have to wait & see what happens.

I have no idea about Tim Richardson. But if Senator Tim Johnson dies the Republicans will get control of the Senate.

I agree with blue Prince. If Sen. Johnson dies or relinquishes his seat, then its a no brainer. The republicans will overpower the senate once more.
