You cant stop it for a whole week. Take a long hot bath and that will stop it for a few hours.

hm i never realized you could still have your period if you have ur tubes tied..

birth control is a really easy way to stop it, ask your doc to give u a month's supply or something and take the pills for two weeks to ensure you wont get your period on ur HM.

There's probably no way to stop it from happening at this point and since you've had a tubal, the likelihood of getting a contraceptive is slim.

May I suggest that you try the Instead Soft Cup? Its a diaphragm-shaped menstrual cup that fits inside your vaginal canal to catch the flow. One of the things it touts is "clean sex."

You can find them at Walgreen's online and probably at any major drug store chain.

Have fun on your honeymoon!

Chickie - you could mess with your hormones to get it to stop, like using birth control pills - but that could backfire and make it lighter and longer and turn you into a raving bi**h. Just roll with it.
Enjoy your HM

Get a prescription for birth control pills immediately take the active ones, one per day ditch the dummy ones. Or you could have your period and use the period cup which is placed in the vagina by you and collects the fluid without spillage, for up to 12 hours without changing. no need for pads or tampons. They cost about $6.00 for about 7. Yes you can have sex and wear your lingerie with this product. I tried this product with my fiance while menstruating and he did not know until i told him. He was impressed with it.
