my new years resolution is that i like to do something new every year, In my youth ive tried scuba diving, and parasending, but now i am older, though alas no wiser, i need to find hobbies, much much much less energetic, but possibly an educational hobby, though i am not the scholarly type. your ideas would be most appreciated,

Mine is not to make any. lol Then I can't disappoint myself for breaking them.:)
But if your looking for a hobby what are your interests? There are many things you can do that require much scholarly types. If you like reading try a book club with the local library.

I started writing short stories this year and ended up getting 2 published. My New Year's resolution is to have three stories published in 2007.

I've heard a couple come through the music store I work at that they want to learn to play the guitar as their resolution.

my new years resoloution is to help my mum and keep my room tidy last year i tried giving up chocolate but i have learnt that my new years resoloution needs to be something i can stick to

Definitely to get fitter! I also collect amber and fossils and I plan to get outdoors more to find them myself, rather than buy them all the time.

Or, I don't know how computer 'apt' you are, but maybe try a little computer course - especially if it helps with your job, or maybe even so you can set up a little network at home.
