What makes you think we have? Evolution isn't fast or always dramatic.

They haven't. Evolution is a very slow process that takes millions of years. Also, humans have kind of stopped the process of natural selection in some ways. People who could never have normally made it live on and reproduce due to technology (not a bad thing at all, I'm just saying our natural course is being affected by this). Then again, we evolved to be able to create this life-saving technology, so who's to say its not "natural". So I just resolved an argument with myself, didn't I? Haha.

Anyway, even our great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandchildren will likely be exactly the way we are right now. It will take a long time before we change into something different than humans are now.

Why have people stopped evolving?
There, that feels better, and more evolved too.

Answer: Because technology has made life easier, so our bodies and minds haven't had to adapt or evolve as much as in the past.

Evolution takes tens of millions of years. But if you think about it, we have evolved quite a bit, we live alot longer and are generally more athletic, considering world records for sprinting and stuff like that are broken all the time.

Evolving takes a really long time to happen we won't notice it happening but actually humans are taller than they used to be so we're evolving that way.

Excellent Question!

Answer: We have not.

Evolution is a very slow process, and the changes that do occur will be so gradual that they can only be seen by comparing humans over thousands of years.

Also, an interesting point to keep in mind is that, our evolution is very likely slowing down because of technology, specifically organized medicine. You see, evolution depends on the 'weak' dying off, but if the week are kept alive through increasingly effective medicine -evolution will be slowed down dramatically

Nothing has stopped evolving, it will though take million of years to see the changes. If you believe in reincarnation, then you might have a chance to return and see the changes.

The physical environment in which people live is now less of a survival factor than it used to be. Physically, we are as evolved as we need to be to survive. Our current areas of development are mental and spiritual. As an autonomous individual, you are in charge of your own mental and spiritual development, but don't be mistaken: some minds and souls survive better than others.
Don't stop evolving.

People plateau at something like a path of least resistance level. To report to work, get home and kick back with tv, computer or whatever is the best some of us can wring out of life. That's not a bad thing. It's a comfy spot. No point fighting fate, is there?
