Both windowsXP and 98 are installed in my computer. I can use my webcam (Intel Create & Share Software for theIntel Easy PC Camera)with windows 98 but not with Xp. Now it seems the cam is incompatible with Xp. Is there any software useful or any method adaptable to make the same PC cam work in Xp also Plz ?

Lots of hardware designed in the Win98 era will not function correctly in WinXP.

You can search the Intel website for XP drivers, they should have them.

Usually it's the other way around. New burners, devices will work on XP but not 98.

dear sir ! if your cam is working in win 98 it will surely work in win xp, because aboth are product of windows. and xp is a newer version too. your problem is because u are not having proper driver. uninstall the cam software and reinstall it in xp mode. then it may work. if not then visit the dealer of urs cam and get a authorised driver for it.

Check on your webcam manufacturer's website for drivers for Windows XP. They should have them.
