I'm thinking of buying a station wagon to carry 3 kids, 3 dogs, etc...and would like to know what you would make seat covers out of. This particular car has velour seats...not kid and pet friendly. Thanks!

I would buy some nice heavy duty canvas type material, something that might even match the car at a fabric store. and just use elastic like other people mention. that way it is real easy to clean, you could sew a cusion into the seat if you want. or maybe just a space for a piece of foam to be inserted. Personally, if i had more time, i would do it too.

the cheaper they are the worse the fit go for the most expensive you can afford or just by a drivers seat cover they have vibrating ones heated ones made of beads will cover the tear if it is in the main body of the seat and massages the driver at the same time halfords have a good range of styles

Couch covers are also another option. Same concept, put on and remove and wash.

Make sure you pre-wash before you make if you make them from scratch. Otherwise they won't fit after you wash them.
