The Descent was the best film of 2006. This might change when I see The Fountain, Eragon, Borat, Tenacious D:The Pick of Destiny and Pan's Labyrinth though.

The Best action by far was Superman Returns.The second best would be Pirates of the Caribbean. With the use of the new Genesis Camera it will change the way movies are made.

Pirates of the Caribbean 2 most definatly!
I mean, it has everything a good movie should have!
Action,
Adventure,
Violence,
Romance,
and not to mention really hot guys! lol.
The plot is good and the special effects are fantastic!
This is definatly my favorite movie made in 2006!!!!!

For action movies, I'd pick Pirates of the Caribbean 2. For family movies, I'd pick Cars. And for horror movies, I'd pick The Grudge 2.

Clerks 2...funny as can be and it really had a great storyline
I was not impressed with Dante and Randall's acting in the first one...but it did get a little better in this....very entertaining movie

Cars - It's a great family movie. Kids and their parents can equally enjoy the storyline of the movie.

The departed! Jack is such a good bad guy! I love him he is such a good actor and Leo got into his role so well. I really believed i was in boston! they did a great job with the accent too!
