Hi there,
I have been in your shoes. I was in your shoes about 4 months ago. We had been trying for 2 yrs. and nothing. Lost one on the way.
Try this. count how many days your cycle is apart. Ex 28 days - try to conceive and have sex every other day starting with the 10th day after your period. do this for at least one week. You can also count back 14 days from when you should have your next period. this worked for me.
If this does not help. Go to your ob and ask for a low dosage of clomid. I whish you the best. I know how it hurts when you try and try and nothing helps. Good Luck!!!

You should be able to purchase an ovulation kit from any pharmacy, Wal-mart or grocery store. I actually would not recommend purchasing an OPK from either of these places. They are so expensive and only give you a few test. If your like me and have irregular periods, you need more than that! I have been TTC for 2 months now. Last month I decided to start testing with an ovulation test strip every p.m. around 6ish when I get home from work. This worked better for me. I was able to see my LH surge the day it started. Once it started, I even tested the following a.m. I had a positive LH surge for over 24 hours. Anyway, my answer to you is, this will increase your chances of timing intercourse just right. I had intercouse the both days I saw an LH surge, and then every other day after that until I noticed I had ovulated on my BBT chart. Also, if your not charting your waking tempatures, you really should do that. It is so helpful and will tell you SO much more about your cycle than ovulation testing alone. I purchase my ovulation test strips from http://www.babywishes.org/ . They are inexpensive and you can order large quanity at a time. I ordered a hundred at a time since I knew I would be testing every day after my period. They also have in-expensive pregnancy test, also. You should also try to read the book Taking Control of your Fertility by Toni Weschler. This will explain alot to you about BBT charting and so forth. It is a very resourceful book and very inexpensive. I bought mine at Barnes and Noble for about $25. I wish you and your husband luck! :]
