I haven't heard my alarm clock for about a week. I sleep through three and can't seem to wake up on time. Today, I was very late for work. I am working full time and studying for graduate course final exams. Once I'm up, I'm fine, but I don't even hear my three alarms. I use three of them: 1) A clock that beeps 2) Radio that is a mixture of very loud static and Spanish speaking 3) Cell phone that beeps.

I need a better...louder...solution. Any ideas? Do you know of an alarm that is impossible to sleep through. In college, people used to draw all over me on School nights (I wasn't even drunk) so that I would wake up with indellible marker beards and earings. I have a hard time falling asleep, but once I'm asleep...I'm out cold.

Please!! Give me your ideas or any products I might be able to buy that are louder than my current alarm. Is there such a thing as a bed that dumps you on the floor? Is there a system that dumps water (or dead fish or milk...) on you? Help!!

First off loose the porn collection...it is keeping you up at night

THEN

1) Buy a lamp and a timer and place it close to your bed, set the timer for the time you need to be awake by...

2) Set your alarm clock for 5 min after item 1

3) Set your cell phone to go off 5 min after item 2

4) Sleep with your blinds open, the natural sunlight will wake you up

5) Slop feeding the cats, they will meow you to death to get fed

6) Give bunny foo foo a key to your apartment, I will get you out of bed on my way to work in the am!

How many hours of sleep are you getting a night? It sounds very much like you are suffering from sleep deprivation.

If you're having trouble falling asleep at night, check with your doctor and see if a sleep-aid is a viable solution. If you're not getting 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night, then it doesn't matter how loud the alarm is - you'll sleep right through it.

I have an alarm that shakes. I think it's called "Shake Awake" and it shakes pretty hard. If you put it under your pillow it might not do the job, but I would attach it to my pants and that usually got me up in a flash.

My Grandmother was the one who introduced me to it since she's pretty hard of hearing. I just got it when I went to college so I wouldn't disturb my roommate in the morning.

It's small and relatively cheap, so I think it's a good buy.

You could try to have your stereo system going on a timer or you could go to bed early enough to get more sleep, cuz sometimes if people don't get enough sleep they just sleep longer into a deep sleep. If that doesn't work I would go to the doctor to see what options I have to fix the problem.

Go to a truck stop and get a 'Screaming Meme' (not sure if it's spelled right)
A boyfriend of mine had one and you could hear it outside of his truck.

try putting your cell phones alarm on vibrate and put it in your PJ's (where you choose to put it in your PJ's is totally up to you)
