What does you going to public school have to do with anything? I went to a public school and learned:
1. That the Japanese were the first Asian country to defeat a European country. (Japan defeated Russia!)
2. That the Japanese attacked the USA in Pearl Harbor in 1941.
3. That Pearl Harbor resulted in the "nukes" being dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. (We, the USA, is the only country that has dropped atomic bombs on another country).
4. That Japan was part of the Axis Nations (the bad guys) and that the USA was part of the Allied Powers (the good guys).
