It's too early. But I have a suggestion for you and everyone who wanrs to honor their beloved with a tattoo. Learn the meaning of their name and use that. Debby means Bee so a bumblebee could work. My name, Dawn could be honored with a sun.

I know not all names will lend themselves to this, but it might me a way to avoid the problem of having to live with a name that may bring painful memories in future years.

umm no. It's way too early for that. You'll freak her out because that's weird.
Anyways I don't think you should ever get a tattoo of a girls name because you never know what the future holds for you two. You could wind up hating her guts one day and there you are stuck with her name on you.I've seen it happen.

Yeah that is a bit premature, and it screams desperation. You won’t win her affections by doing that, just her scorn. She might think you are pathologically clingy and an overall psycho. Besides, she might not be right for you and tattooing yourself is too big of a mistake to make over something as fleeting as a first date.

Haha! NO! Never ever do that for any girl! A tatoo is irreversible (well, it is...but it involves a painful, expensive procedure that may not work the first time). So, I mean, unless you want some girl's name tatooed on your back (or wherever) when you're 80 (and possibly not even married to her), don't do it.

Only if you know that you and that girl are going to stay together forever because if the two of you break up...well I would want the name of some guy that I no longer date anywhere on me.

well If i where you i would think and ask my self well if i get a gurls name tattooed on me remember its PERMANT and wont come off only if you go back to where you got it done at and got it removed by a lazer. But if your going out with her like b/f and g/f or something than thats fine but just remember that if it doesn't work out then how are you going to explain to your new gurlfriend about that name on you. I would think about it real hard if i where you.

Too early to be making a permenant scar onto you body of a temporary girlfriend's name.

not only is it too early...but either way you should do it. Everyone that i ever knew that got their bf or gf's name tattoed on them ended up breaking up or getting divorced. Its like the act of tattoeing their name on you sets a curse in motion that leads the relationship to definite failure
