If Joe's great great great grandfather worked hard,and started a business,

then joes great great grandfather took it over and built the buisness up,

and then joes great grandfather built it up even more,

and then joes grandfather took it public, and now joe makes 6,000,000 dollars a year becaue of it, should we take it away from joe??

well... you have basically no facts here... but what does joe do to make that much more than every other American? just because his grandfather opened a business?

is he 60 times more valuable than the vast majority of Americans that make 60 times less than he does just because he was born into the right family?

what has America done to help give him that wealth... they have kept his family safe, America has passed laws that helped his family maintain the wealth and let it grow, America has publicly supported colleges that educated him and his grand fathers...

now, I don't think it should be taken away, but I think he owes America a whole lot for the riches it has given him... it takes a business friendly government and an education system to make money... and those with money do clearly have a responsibility to those who haven't had the tremendous breaks that the wealthy are granted...

If the story is true,and Joe did not violate the public trust or ethical laws,then I personally don't see a problem with the amount of money that he is making,unless the shareholders have a problem and voted him out for good reasons.

Chances are Joes great great great grandfather was making that money on the backs of slaves as did the rest of the 1800's tycoons
