It is because of Carlos Boozer. He has proved his dominance inside the paint. And Memo Okur has a terrific outside shooting. Also the young guys of the young Utah Jazz team is showing what they are made of.

One Word: Health.
The past 2 years the Jazz started they'll 1st 10 games, or so very hot!
But then lose Boozer or AK-47 or both.
This year they are both healthy and rippin' it!
Booz is avg. 23 pts and 12 rebounds.
AK blocks, steals, rebounds, shoots, assists and anything else you can think of.
Add Deron Williams 18 PPG and 10 assists, along with Memo Okur, a 7 fotter who shoots the three and rebounds.
A solid rookie class.
And a powerful bench with Matt Harpring, Derek Fisher.
Add it all together and you get the 17-5 Utah Jazz.

Simply...they are healthy...Utah has always had a good squad, with AK-47, Boozer, and Okur..remember in 2004-2005 they started 5-1 but then the injuries hit...we forget how good they were because as a team they could never stay healthy...now that they are healthy and playing together we are finally seeing what kind of team they could be..
