What is the reason why the western conference teams are more dominant than the east? Why?

It is because they have more talented lineups, great coaches and the west teams would rellay want to win.

western conference teams have more talent and more big men then east coast teams with the exception of a few east coast teams

The West is much more talented than the East.
However, with the exclusion of San Antonio the West is inconsistant and break under pressure. The perfect example is to look at Dallas, Phoenix and Lakers last couple years.

because of innovation... as you can see, all western conference teams are run and gun, east coast ball is stuck in the mud...
