I am a huge Dallas Mavs fan and was devastated when my favorite player Steve Nash was traded. Now my fav mavs player is Dirk! anyway... who thinks Nash should be MVP for year 3 in a row?

I'm in the same boat as you. I am a Mavericks fan, and I was really saddened by the departure of Steve Nash. I knew he was worth the money then, and now it's obvious to everyone.

While I love Steve Nash, I don't know if the NBA is ready to give the MVP trophy to anyone 3 times in a row. Personally, I'd love it if he won another MVP, but I just don't see it happening.

PS - Nice to see another Mavs fan! :-)

Yeah, by the way he and his Suns are playing at this point, he should no doubt carry the MVP award. He just makes it easy for his teammates to score, and his leadership skills are top-tier. He's a guy that can make pieces fit together around him, even with different teams. Only thing he hasn't actually done is win a championship, which the Suns look pretty good to take it now, if Amare plays healthy.

Yeah, Nash and Finley leaving the Mavs was sad too. They had great chemistry together, but were unfortunately unable to go strong in a very tough conference with a dominant Shaq, a young Duncan, and a healthy Webber. I still dont know why they were broken up, but anyway Dirk and Nash were the best of friends back then, probably because of their love for soccer.

This early in the season it is pointless to even speculate at who is the MVP. It should go to the best and fittingly most valuable player. Which these last two season has been Nash.

based on real early returns on the season, yeah. incredible leader and distributes the ball incredibly well. i am biased because i am a suns fan big-time and am stoked about the 12 game win streak.

anyone catch the 161-157 win over the nets a week ago? what a game.
