SpySheriff is a rogue anti-spyware application that uses fake alerts and false positives as a goad into scaring you into purchasing their software. This software is usually installed by Trojans that issue fake security alerts in your Windows taskbar stating that you are infected with a variety of malware. When you click on this warning, SpySheriff will be download and installed and start scanning your system. The malware will also change your Windows desktop to a black background with a warning message stating that your computer is in danger.

This is quite simple.... Use the WindowsXP CD...and during boot up start the setup and use the repair option. All the systems files will be deleted and are reloaded freshly. and hey there is nothing to worry about ur personal files which are already there in your system, they will be as it is.... and dont load any third party junk softwares except Some good antivirus and a google or yahoo toolbar or IE7(which has an inbuilt pop-up blocker, phising filter...) I guess this helps...

Try a better anti-virus spy sweeper is better then windows defender
anyway if that does nt work then u have to reinstall windows and reformat the drive. If u know how to use a computer well try to go to msconfigs and see if theres anything starting up that's slowing down your computer.
msconfigs
go to start
go to run
then type msconfigs
spy sweeper
