There are certain religious groups who (if you ask me) worship the wrong God, and who congregate every full moon and do their version of worship services at that time.
I notice changes in the way everyday people act during a full moon -- I can better tell from that than by looking up at the sky. I always notice more people acting like they want others to stay out of their way.
Although the moon's gravitational pull is greatest at that time, that can't have a thing to do with it. The gravity thing is negligible.
