There is this person who works in Dragon's office. He doesn't even work part-time, cuz he only works like 2 hours a day. So he works like qwarter-time and he only comes in when we need him. Sometimes when he comes in, he will spend an hour in the office with the boss (cuz they are friends outside of work) instead of doing the work that we need him to do.

Qwestion: Would Dragon be out of line to go into the boss's office and reqwest that he come do the work that is assigned to him, especially when she knows that he and the boss are not discussing work-related topics? What would be the best way to put it?

Thanks fer yer answers. ♥

No, you definitely would not be out of line if you brought it to your bosses attention, it's only fair that he do the job tasks that are assigned to him. Screw that if he thinks he can get out of it just because he's friends with the boss. I'd just go in the boss's office, sweet as pie...and politely say 'there's something I'd like to discuss with you... and go on to say whats on your mind
OR
You could casually address this issue with the boss... Even try to make light of it a little bit, depending on how close you are with him/her. Make it less serious, maybe then it won't feel as awkward for you (if you are leary about it) addressing the issue if it's played down.

Ohhh, sticky Dragon qwestion. Is Dragon friendly with these two twits? If so, can Dragon go in and "chat" for a minute...'hi ------- (twit's name) nice to see you! Are you here to fix my ----- (whatever)? That's great! When can you get to it?'

If Dragon doesn't get along with same twits, she'll maybe have to rawr a little...if she's secure in her job (and she should be).

Yer welcome!

This calls for one of those leftover Halloween Voodoo dolls. JoBu has a bunch left over that can pinprick the guy right out of the office.

Hmmm...touchy subject here. I think this is one of those situations where u just have to 'grin and bear it'. Wouldnt be prudent to piss off the boss now, would it? Even though I agree u r right, it's not always a good idea to announce how right u r,

Maybe if you just went to the door and said, "Hi, it's good to see you. When you get done here I have something I'd like your help with?" What does Dragon think?

Get on the horn and say,"We're dyin' out here. Could you please help?" Susan always says subtle things like that. Some people need to be hit over the head!!
