How can someone force you to have surgery? And when you're 21? Don't you have a spine? Did your aunt and cousin hold you down and perform the operation themselves?

To answer your question, no a tubal ligation (tubes tied) cannot "become undone". It can be that it was not performed correctly and eggs are still able to reach the uterus. If that's the case then I'd question the doctor that performed the procedure.

If you want to get pregnant now see a different doctor, one that won't perform surgery against your will, and get checked out. Tubal ligation can be reversed in most instances.

How did they force you to have surgery? No one can force you to have any medical procedure you don't want unless they have a court order declaring that you're incompetent to make your own medical decisions. Even then, no court would allow a procedure that's both elective, and unnecessarily drastic. Why not go for a subcutaneous birth control implant instead? I think it was irresponsible for the doctor to agree to preform the procedure when it should have been clear that you were being forced into it. And even if you weren't, he should have been very reluctant to perform such a procedure on someone so young without a very compelling medical reason.

There is a small chance that someone who has had their tubes tied can still become pregnant, but it's quite rare. More likely, your period was just three days late and unusually light. It happens sometimes. Unless you're taking birth control pills, your period doesn't happen at exactly the same time every month, or last exactly the same length of time.

If you're trying to get pregnant, talk to your doctor about it. Depending how the initial procedure was done, it may be possible to surgically reverse it and increase your chances of getting pregnant. There are also fertility treatments that might increase the chances, or in vitro fertilization might be an option.

Having sex cannot "untie" your fallopian tubes. However, about 1 in 400 women do get pregnant within the first ten years after tubal ligation. It also depends on whether you had them simply tied, or cauterized. If they were burned, it is far less likely that you could be pregnant.
It is also possible to reverse the procedure, although it is a very costly and risky surgery. And even after reversal, only about 20 to 40 percent of women go on to have successful pregnancies.

If you suspect you may be pregnant, go to a doctor as soon as possible, as pregnancies after tubal ligation are much more likely to be ectopic pregnancies (pregnancies in which the fertilized egg implants somewhere outside of the uterus, most often the fallopian tubes.

I'm sorry you feel that you were "forced" to do something you did not want to do, but I am also curious how these people were able to force you...Do you mean they pressured you until you gave in?

Once the tubes are tied they are tied. Sex can not untie them unless during sex your partner secretly untied them?? Which I doubt cuz it's only done through surgery.

If you want to have a tubal reversal you will need to tell your doctor if you had a tubal ligation, or tubal cauterization. One is they literally tie your tubes, and the other one they remove a piece of the tube and cauterize them. So this is really no chance of a reversal. Sorry. Unless there was a medical reason behind your aunt and cousin forcing you to have a tubal then ok, but otherwise no one can force you especially if you hadn't had kids!!! NO WAY!!

So one, no, your tubes are very unlikely to become untied during sex. Sorry, i've worked in Ob-Gyn for 11 years and seen maybe one case of this and it happened right after the surgery.

no they can't come undone while having sex, however, there is a chance of a tubal pregnancy which usually terminates itself. The only way your tubes can come untied, is if you go to the hospital and have then untied through minor surgery. I also had my tubes tied and asked that very same question to my physician. If you wish to have a baby with your man you have to get your tubes untied. Good luck

I don't know how many years ago that was but tied tubes do not allow the egg to receive the sperm. I am fairly sure they DO NOT come untied when you have sex.

it particularly is quite riskful to untie the tubes, on the grounds that medical doctors in many situations do no longer desire to realize this. initially, they might no longer completely untie them. in accordance to what i understand, in some operations the tubes can't be completely reversed. Secondly, even in the adventure that your tubes are untied you will possibly no longer get pregnant as truthfully as you acquire previously. i desire i ought to help, it relatively is all i understand.

well I'm surprised that they actually did the procedure, but the answer is no, you can still gt pregnant but most likely is that the fetus would be in the Fallopian's tubes and not in the uterus which can be very painful and dangerous, you can have it reverse but not all health ins covers the procedures
